FAQs
What time will I be contacted for a shift?
There will be times in which your shift will be finalised in advance (a few days before, the night before etc). However, during quieter times of the year, you can also be called between 6:30am up until 7:15am on the day of a shift.
What time should I arrive at school prior to my shift?
It is a good idea to arrive at least 20 minutes before the doors are opened to the classroom. This will give you enough time to discover the staff room, toilets, clarify yard duty expectations and organise your day in the classroom. The starting time on ‘Sling’ is the time that we would suggest you arrive at the school to ensure you have enough time for your morning setup.
Who should I contact if I am lost or running late for a shift?
Call the REP office on 0473 734 435 as soon as you are able to. Hanna or Morgan will contact the school on your behalf or give you directions if Google Maps has let you down!
What do I wear to an assignment?
Check the REP Dress Code Policy for a more detailed explanation of expected attire when representing the REP Agency as a CRT. We expect you to dress professionally. Always ensure you are wearing your REP lanyard and ID card.
What do I need to bring with me to an assignment?
Bring your lunch - you may have double yard duty and not have time to sneak out and pick something up. A ‘bag of tricks’ in case you are left in the lurch without a plan for the day - don’t forget there are plenty of resources available on the website for you to utilise if required. During Terms 1 and 4, you will also need a hat to wear outside.
