Information for Educators

Replacement Educators Peninsula is made up of an incredible team of educators.

REPloyees are hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated teachers who work in schools across the Mornington Peninsula, determined to ensure a day of learning isn’t lost simply because a replacement teacher is present.

Dedicated to the education and wellbeing of the students in their care, REPloyees are chosen for their impeccable character and their commitment to excellence.

Why choose REP?

  • REP services schools only across the Mornington Peninsula and in its surrounding suburbs. You can set your radius to the distance that you are willing to travel - knowing exactly how long you will travel each day without any nasty surprises

  • REP is a teacher-led agency, with directors working both behind the scenes in the classroom alongside you. We pride ourselves on the personal nature of our agency. Hanna & Morgan spend time getting to know their staff. This means you will be truly known as an educator, with your skills highlighted as often as possible with the shifts that you are allocated

  • There are absolutely no obligations to have minimum days available each week. REP also completely understands the benefits of the CRT life, so flexibility from week to week is easily catered for. We focus on the quality of the educator and not the quantity that they can work

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nothing!

Joining us as a REPloyee is completely free with no locked in contracts

  • At REP HQ, there are two of us - Hanna and Morgan. We run things behind (and in front of) the scenes. Send us a text message, an email, give us a buzz - you’ll only ever speak to Hanna or Morgan. Any issues, concerns, wins or questions once passed on to REP HQ will always be actioned (or celebrated!) immediately.

  • We pay our REPloyees fortnightly on Mondays for the previous two weeks of work. For example, if you work Week 1 and Week 2, you will be paid for these shifts on Monday of Week 3.

  • We work within a number of different communities - including Government, Catholic and Independent schools. A full list of our schools is available on the ‘Schools’ tab.

  • More often than not, a plan is left for your day. Our schools work closely within their teams, so someone will always be able to point you in the right direction. We also provide our REPloyees with a bank of online resources that they can access at any time in case they are needed!

  • No! Whether it’s a little too far from home, a school that you already work at part-time, where your children attend school or any other circumstance - we support our staff and their requests.

  • Professional yet functional. We always let our staff know of special circumstances that may affect your attire - such as teaching PE, attending Book Week, Sports Carnivals etc. We also outline any specific expectations that schools may have in our general information sheets.

  • If you’re up for it, absolutely! Our staff have the opportunity to cover everything from Art, PE, Performing Arts and so many more.

  • Absolutely. We do our best to take on feedback from both schools and our staff. Whenever we can make a school request happen, we do!

  • We take a lot of pride in matching schools with teachers. At REP we find out a lot about our educators and we like to utilise their strengths. Consequently, where possible we match them to appropriate bookings. Some of our teachers speak other languages, some are experts in coding, some have taught Foundation for decades. We want to ensure that our staff and school communities have the best experience possible.

  • When we first meet with you, we take note of your ‘usual’ availability and put this on our calendar. After this, you can simply text us or email us with any dates that come up where you become unavailable - you’re taking a long weekend, you have an appointment, or you’re after a mental health day! Just give us the heads up and we’ll know not to bother you for anything that comes up on that day.
